I've taken a wide variety of classes during my time at the University of Arizona, both business and theatre alike. I've completed many different projects, some of which I'm very proud of. I've collected them here with a brief description of what class it was for and what the assignment was.
"Sophie in Exile"
song edits
Our first assignment for Advanced Sound Design (TAR 419) is song editing. My assignment was to create three different edits of a piece of orchestral music at 30 seconds, 60 seconds, and 90 seconds. I chose "Sophie In Exile" from the movie Howl's Moving Castle.
Death of a legend scenic design presentation
I completed this scenic design presentation for the one-act play Death of a Legend in Intro to Scenic Design. I developed a concept statement, color palette, floor plan, props list, and costumes for each character, as well as selected reference photos.

"Heat Lightning" Light A Song
I enrolled in the master's section of Advanced Lighting Design (TAR 520) as an undergrad to receive honors credit; as part of my enrollment, I had to complete the grad assignment. The grad assignment was a light-a-song. We selected a song of our choice, created a collage to show our inspiration, and finally built the cues in Eos Augment3d. I chose "Heat Lightning" by Mitski as my song, and a dance recital as my setting or event. With this project, the idea I wanted to portray was being caught in a storm in your own mind. I used mostly reds and blues as my color palette to capture the ideas of water and fear. I included both the collage and final product to show how it all came together.
Wait until dark set design
I created this set design for Wait Until Dark using Vectorworks. It shows a basement apartment in New York. Notable features include the refrigerator, windows, and the entryway stairs.

Industry report
This Industry Report was written about the luxury retail market for Business Communication (BCOM) 214. Our assignment was to research an industry and write a report about its main competitors, recent growth, and the ways in which the industry was changing. In particular, I focused on how COVID-19 and the push for sustainability from consumers was affecting luxury retail.
